No-one knows where it started or why. All you know is that reanimated human beings – zombies – stalk the land. They crave only the flesh of the living.
Despite desperate efforts by the Government and local civil authorities to control the situation, society has effectively collapsed. The government told people to seek refuge in population centres, which only added to the ranks of the walking dead. The towns and cities of the mainland, with their high populations and close quarters, became death-traps.
The BBC went off the air about a week ago, to be replaced by the Emergency Broadcast Network. Those last images when the zombies broke into the news studio are forever burnt into your brain.
You count yourself as one of the lucky ones. Most of your platoon didn’t make it, but you managed to get off the mainland and reach the assembly point at Needles Battery on the Isle of Wight.

Seems some important scientist has got himself trapped in a hospital in downtown zombieville. It’s your job to get him and his research team out alive.
Question is, just how important can one man be, and what has he been up to all these months?
