Two years and four months after the outbreak of the Rage Virus that infected the majority of Great Britain, many cities and towns were declared safe and the British survivors repatriated in walled satellite refuges, towns and cities that are shadows of their former selves. The town of Middleriver (pop 142,691), in the north‐east of England, is one such satellite refuge, and has been established now for nearly 18 months, under local control.
Almost a year has passed since the last outbreak of the Rage Virus in which nearly 32,000 citizens lost their lives, as the Major Incident Plan (MIP) Gold Command struggled to maintain order. Order has been restored, and the town has been rebuilt with even more stringent security now in place.
This afternoon, a radioactive leak was detected at the new nuclear power station located in the western part of the town. Initial evaluations considered this to be of ‘high risk’ to the populace in that sector, and an evacuation by train was began two hours ago.
With the operation running smoothly, and civilian casualties at a minimum, MIP Gold Command appeared to have everything under control.
That was until the Infected spilled from the returning train from Alncastle, infecting the awaiting evacuees on the station platform. Once more, chaos ensues in Middleriver…
Can you save the town and restore order?
