A 66 Suns Space Opera
According the old Judeo-Christian calendar (which is half remembered on a few backwater worlds) it is AD 13,686. Humanity has spread throughout the stars. Earth is now an all but forgotten mythical place left behind by long-dead ancestors. Welcome to the Magellanic Clouds, dwarf galaxies orbiting the Milky Way, and home to lost human spacefarers attracted to the region by seismic ripples in the Void Matrix. Here too are more powerful and ancient extragalactic species with nefarious plans of their own. None are so blatantly antagonistic than the recently arriving Terran Star Empire.
In the Wolfram Deep Octant lies the Frost system, containing a graveyard of warships littering its moons and outer system after the battles with the Terran Imperium. There is great interest in one blasted relic. The cyborg human Maldivon of nearby Algol have hired you to find this wreck and bring something back from a cold grave. What might this be? How might this play into their application for provisional membership into the Machine worlds? Will the Terran Imperial House Tarkan still be found out in the deep? Are Space Force reports of pirates and scavengers true? What other powers are out hunting in the rich graveyards and moons of Frost?
No mission is without incident, no journey without consequences. Opportunity knocks. Good luck.
