On the newly discovered world of Xilos lie the ruins of an ancient and powerful people – the Builders. An expeditionary force arrives charged with with exploration of the verdant and savage world, only to discover that the warlike Ghar have laid claim.
But the secret of the Builders is a power too great to give up without a fight, so the force must infiltrate the heart of the Ghar stronghold and wrestle Xilos free from control before the war-to-end-all-wars erupts and plunges the Universe into darkness.
