Guardians of Gloriana III

After the success of the games in each of the last two years, I am running a follow-up in this year of the four-hundredth anniversary of the death of England’s greatest playwright.
No experience of the previous scenarios required.

The enemies of Elizabethan England are everywhere.
Across the dark streets of London hundreds plot the Queen’s downfall. Rumours talk of a secret group allegedly receiving instruction from Her Majesty’s Principal Secretary Sir Francis Walsingham and the court astrologer Dr John Dee tasked with stopping these plots. Under cover as a company of actors this group, the Guardians of Gloriana, are engaged against myriad unseen and unknown foes. They hurry across Elizabethan London from bustling streets to dark drinking dens, from grand palaces to raucous docks, never knowing which encounter may be their last.

A chance to enjoy Cakebread & Walton’s old school Renaissance D100 game system, in an England fifty years before that depicted in Clockwork and Chivalry. A dark, gritty world of treason, violence, espionage, some comedy and hints of supernatural horror.
