Then There Was War In Heaven (The Theocracy and the OCN)

Revelation 12:7

Chief Inquisitors Log – 19th October 2293 23:12 ship time:
About an hour ago I was deep in prayer when I heard a loud explosion. The ship rocked and I gashed open my head on a steel beam. The crew are frantic. Apparently we encountered a gravitic mine. The Captain informs me the primary jump drive and sensor cloak are both damaged. We will be making an emergency short range jump to the Vega system where the multiple asteroid belts may offer cover whilst we make necessary repairs.
The Inquisitors, including myself have been informed we will serve most good, by praying.

Admirals Appleby’s log – 19th October 2293:
Until an hour ago I had real doubts we could win this war. The enemy are fanatical, more than making up for
inferior technology in terms of fearlessness and skill.
We just got lucky. A relay sat in the Gorbon system registered an explosion in one of our minefields. Initial analysis suggest not just that we may have damaged their flag ship, but that they jumped out using a backup jump system. They can’t have gone far – a couple of parsecs at most. There’s a crippled ship out there, and finding it could win us the war.
I’m pulling the first fleet home (this could be a ruse). That leaves the second and third fleets to join the hunt.
