The Sultan is at his wit’s end at the loss of his daughter. Disappeared in the night, some say stolen by a Djinn! Everyone knows one of his wives, yes THAT one, the one who escaped the harem is a sorceress and no doubt captured the poor girl to punish the benevolent Sultan. For all his armies and the cunning of his Vizier, he has been unable to find his beloved and so know he offers rubies the size of hen’s eggs for anyone that can return her to him.
