An image of Thumis used in the Festival of Light and Wisdom which occurs in 6 days time. It’s needed for the ceremonies and a convincing replacement could never by made in time. Not having the original could lead to all manner of problems for the conservative membership of the temple and they could be charged with mismanagement and dismissed if it became known that the image had been removed. The PC’s being worshippers of Thumis are tasked to find out what has happened and get the image back.
