Microscope

Microscope is a game of world-building. The players make the world from scratch using their imagination and a big pile of index cards. It’s a game of questions and evolving answers, jumping from character to character to make individuals scenes which flesh things out and create a history.

It’s chock full of Indie hippy goodness, non linear time, rewarding people who come to the table prepared to actively participate, but it’s not a game where things wander off into the sunset because there’s an actual system, simple enough that I’m prepared to run it but robust enough that it’s not broken in the games I’ve played. (That is not a challenge)

What do you think about that?
