The near future, in which the UK has been overran by the Rage Virus. The Infected rampage across the country, whilst the survivors hole up in fortified towns.
This afternoon, the town of Middleriver is besieged by the Rage Infection once more, and the streets become a battlefield for survival. A mass evacuation of the populace begins, and a hot zone of rift activity occurs, slap bang in the middle of an overrun sector. Once again, Torchwood, under the command of Dr. Sapphire ‘Napalm’ Jones, & UNIT, led by Captain Lucy Hawkins, head out to investigate the rift.
