The crew of the USS Yorkshire have a top secret mission to the Demilitarized Zone between Federation and Cardassian space. Their goal is to find a missing Vulcan scientist, Dr.Sylvar, an expert on spatial anomalies.
Dr.Sylvar’s last transmission to the Federation indicated he had found the means to artificially generate black holes – a project with all sorts of wonderful and terrifying implications.
