Three Thousand Words for War

The Klesh, as your Stewardbot would have told you before he was disassembled, do indeed have three thousand words for war. You’ve picked up a few of them since they held your freighter here for the last 18 months – they also have some of the most inventive and lucrative gravitics technology outside the Empire, and they don’t take kindly to two-bit smugglers like yourselves helping themselves to it.

Fortunately, the Klesh have also managed to annoy their neighbours, so when you hear the explosions of drop-ships arriving and see the blast doors holding your dry-docked starship ripped open by a Federation Mechwalker, it should be your ticket off dirtside. You’ve just got to get offplanet and then there’s only twenty-three parsecs of hostile space before you might be able to find a buyer. ‘Course, the Federation still have that warrant on you, so you might have to deal with that Mechwalker first…

Mouse Guard SF is a hack of the Mouse Guard system by Paul Beakley – it channels the challenges and teamwork of Mouse Guard into a space opera setting. You will NOT be playing anthropomorphic mice.

What do you think about that?
