“He’s a socially-inept university professor. She’s a blunt, cynical, no-nonsense detective at odds with her strictly-by-the-book Captain. Together they fight crime!”
Bringing the police procedural to the tabletop, but whilst games like Gumshoe do this really well by concentrating on the crime scenes, the clues and the investigation, this game will concentrate on the relationships, the personal agendas and the interplay of personalities.
Characters
Hanna Murray-Wright: A female blunt, cynical, no-nonsense detective at odds with her strictly-by-the-book Captain.
Francis Wright: Hanna’s sleazy ex-husband attorney, seeking custody of their daughter
Brooke Murray: Hanna and Francis’ rebellious, attention seeking teen daughter with the brains for Stanford, but her sights set much lower.
Edgar Ray Turner: Hanna’s investigating partner: A socially-inept university professor with a keen eye, a powerful analytical mind and a habit of saying precisely what he thinks without social filters, except when it comes to Hanna
Rose Merrills – Edgar’s best friend – a wheelchair bound female chemist and online gamer with a male online persona (‘BitAttack707’) and a penchant for cooking up designer drugs.

Note: Inspired by Castle, Life on Mars, NUMB3RS, Life, Scorpion, Due South, Bones, White Collar, iZombie (and all the other oddball crime fighting dramas churned out by TV execs over the years) with a healthy dose of Breaking Bad thrown in for good measure.
Note 2: If you don’t like conflict and drama between player characters this may not be the right game for you. The aims, agenda, desires and morals of these characters will often place them at odds.
